What does counting on mean?
Counting on is a beginning math strategy where learners start with the biggest number (or a predetermined number) and count on (count up) from there.
This Counting On Add More set includes 39 different task cards where children are given a specific number and asked to use manipulatives to make a certain number. For example, they are given the number 7 and asked to show 10. They will need to count on three more objects. You can use the printable manipulatives or any in your classroom. I would suggest printing on cardstock and laminating for longevity. If you do not want to print in color, select grayscale on your printer selections.
Please let me know if you have any questions. Make sure you check out the BUNDLE to save. Happy teaching!
