CVCE Strips Blend and Read for Small Groups

These CVCE Blend and Read Strips for Small Groups will help your young reader practice blending CVCE words. Encourage them to sound out each letter and them blend them together. You can keep the pictures as part of the card or you can cut off the image and have them match the image to the words. For additional practice, you can have them find the magnetic letter, use a manipulative to help blend (ex. car), and/or have them write the word after they have read it.
