CVCE Mystery Words Hands-On Center

This CVCE Mystery Words Hands-On Center is the perfect year-round center for your young reader to practice using their beginning sound reading skills to create a mystery CVCE word. This set includes 36 different CVCE words. Students will look at the image and pick out the beginning sound. Then, they will find the correct letter and place it on the box below. Once they have figured out all four beginning sounds, they will be able to read the CVCE word. For additional practice, you can have them write the word after they have built it.
