Day three of PICTURE PALOOZA in the house! Today I am going to show you pictures of a littering project. We talked about taking care of the Earth all week and ways we can help. Then, on Friday we took all four of our kinder classes out to the playground. Every student got a piece of paper, crumbled it, and threw it on the playground. It was a great way to show the kids that if one person litters, it may not make a huge difference but if everyone litters, it could ruin our playground. When we were done, everyone picked up their trash. Our playground has stayed super clean ever since. Students are always cleaning it up. I love it! The last pictures are of our class rules. We read NO DAVID and everyone drew their own David. Then, we decided what our class rules were going to be and everyone signs it. this chart stays up all year. 🙂
I hope you are having a great week. Feel free to pin any pictures you want. 🙂 Love and virtual hugs!

What a good idea for students to understand littering. I love the quote about working on it at school or home. That is definitely me some days! Ha!

I love this idea. Such a good activity to do with littles ones when they first start school so it's a learnt behaviour straight away! Going to write this little one down in my planner!!
I'm having a huge giveaway if I can reach 20 followers by Friday!

I love your Picture Palooza! Maybe I should do something similar soon to make up for the fall months during which I did ZERO blogging.
I like your idea to do just fine motor stuff the first two weeks. I teach slightly younger kids and I know I should be doing more of it!
LOVE your blog!
