A Tropical Paradise of Summer PD!

I know. You read the title of this post and thought I was going to talk about attending sessions at the beach. Ha. Well, that is not exactly what I’m writing about today but I do have want to share with you an exciting opportunity for you to join me this summer.

I am elated to attend Frog Street SPLASH again this year as a Blogger Ambassador and presenter. This is my fourth summer to present at SPLASH. This early childhood education conference is seriously so much fun. It’s more than just a few sessions, it’s an experience.

This year, the SPLASH theme is Tropical Paradise. If you’ve ever been to a SPLASH conference, you know they go ALL OUT with the theme. Last year, we had a blast with the circus theme. You must watch this video by clicking here.

Frog Street works hard to make sure this experience is completely centered on growing you as an educator. The only distraction you will have is the sound of laughter and fun between participants. On Friday night, there is a huge celebration. It’s like attending a wedding reception but you don’t have to buy a gift. Ha! You get to dance the night away, eat a great meal, experience awesome themed activities and have a chance to win some amazing stuff. Last year I won $100! Sweet, huh?! Doesn’t this look like fun?

The amazing presenters share their experience and expertise in all areas. Their passion is evident and you will leave with a toolbox of new ideas. There really is something for everyone. **Make sure you check out my session on Teaching Writing. Writing is my jam y’all. 😎

The conference will be held at the Gaylord Texan in in Grapevine, TX July 21-23. This place is ah-mazing! Restaurants, water park, mini river walk…you name it, they probably have it. It would be a great place for a mini family vaca too!
