The park has been around since May 27th, 1910 and is a big hit still today. You’ll find over 20 miles of trails you can walk or bike. There is also a disc golfing course, playgrounds, picnic tables, and even a cross country running course. There is endless amounts of things to do for those who are searching for outdoor fun in Waco.

Located in the heart of Texas, Waco has some pretty cool outdoor attractions. Most people are drawn to Indian Spring Park for the historic Waco Suspension Bridge and the Brazos statue series. If you get a chance, spend some time outdoors getting to know this beautiful park. It’s also a great place to take special photos. I have had three kids take prom pictures here and they all turned out so great!
Waco Downtown Farmer’s Market
If you wake up one day and decide you want to enjoy some outdoor fun in Waco, then perhaps heading to the farmer’s market is just what you need. The Waco Downtown Farmer’s Market is available on Saturdays and they feature various products like produce, crafts, and artisan products. Don’t forget you can also pick up fresh produce, meat, and meals. This particular farmer’s market has been around since 2011 and is still going strong. We love walking around, grabbing breakfast and local product. It’s a great start to our weekend!
