Math interventions and turkeys..not the combo meal that is usually served huh? Well, you get what you get and you appreciate it. Haha! I think I say that several times a day to my littles.
Happy Saturday. If all is right in my world, I am currently asleep as you are reading this (meaning, you are reading it when it posts at 8:00 a.m.). It is currently 12:24 a.m. and I am writing this post for the morning because I am sure no one else is up right now. Why would you be? I don't want to be. I am up because I just had to pick up my daughter. She is in the high school color guard. We had our last football game tonight. Oh, the life of a human taxi driver. Fun times.
Moving on, I finally had thirty minutes to sit down tonight and finish my Quick Math Interventions unit. Here is a sneak peek. ๐
You can see more of the unit by clicking HERE. I always put products on sale the first 24 hours too. ๐
On to the turkeys! We sent home these turkeys last week for a family turkey project. They had to dress their turkey in disguise. They turned out so cute!
The one disguised at Chicken Pox cracks me up.
We also did a few craft projects that were super fun this week. We had our family Thanksgiving lunch this Thursday so we had special table centers that morning. We made these super cute turkey pilgrim hats, corn painted with q-tips, turkey art, and pilgrim self portraits (which kind of looked nothing like pilgrims in the end, epic fail..not pictured haha).
Alright, that's all for now. I have to go argue with my youngest teenager. He is mad because I am making him go to bed. I mean, it's after midnight and he's kinda a beast without sleep! He is running his mouth. I told him to hush or he would be grounded tomorrow. He came out of his room a few minutes later and told me that God had told him he wasn't grounded tomorrow. When I questioned him on it, he acted like I was crazy for not hearing God. Oh the joys of parenting. This kid keeps my on my toes that is for sure and I have certainly “earned” every gray hair on my head. Geez Louise. Always putting the fun in dysFUNctional!

I started my free trial of ESGI after reading your post and I love it!!! I am already trying to get my superintendent to buy it for us. I think he is waiting for more data. Which of course I will be able to supply soon! Thank you!
