Who said learning can’t be FUN? Yes, you are about to view some real
live learning fun ART pictures! I know, I know, many teachers can’t do art anymore. I really don’t understand why. ART is SO good for fine motor skills (you know, that thing that makes good handwriting), following
directions, and making connections.

We learned about Fall and made Fall
paintings. We learned the poem Humpty Dumpty and created a Humpty Dumpty. We
even added speech bubbles to our Art.

I love to walk through the hall and just
look at my student’s work. It makes me really happy. I love that each piece shows
their individual character and also their growth. Yep, label me a proud
teacher.

I mean, I could focus on the kid that poured glue all over the table
and the Mr. Potato head that was upside down even when I walked around and made
sure everyone was following directions but I’m just going to focus on the fact
that the littles were super proud of their work and it really was a good time. J

That’s all I got for today. Well, actually I have much more but it is a beautiful day so I think I will go out and play. You should too! I’ll be back with more tomorrow.
Oh and before I got, make sure you check out and link up to my latest linky “Kids Say The Funniest Things”. Click HERE to take you to the post. Hilariousness I tell you! Love and virtual hugs!
LOVE the art! We can tie so much into projects like that and that is what makes learning fun! 🙂 BTW, I was sporting my Queen of my classroom shirt yesterday, the K team loved it and I made sure they knew where to get one.
