If you have been a frequent flyer here, then you know that I love a creative atmosphere. I was super excited when Duck Brand asked to team up so I could try out a few of their amazing products. I chose this adorable Removable Adhesive EasyLiner for my white shelves. I love the clean look of white shelves, but I know little hands will touch all the things and wanted something to help me keep it clean.
Let’s be honest, it’s not that easy keeping white clean in a classroom, office, or even your home. This is such a simple way to spruce up the look of your furniture, and bonus, I can wipe off the surface, which to me is easier to clean than a plain shelf.
When starting, I measured each shelf. I usually don’t trust myself with this type of project because even though I am creative, I am not so handy. This was super simple though, because the back of the adhesive has a ruler with lines to help you cut it straight. I really couldn’t mess this up!
Peeling the liner was a breeze, and I just smoothed it out with my hand. Seriously, it was so fast to do. I chose a liner that gives you a little pop. It has these beautiful specs in it of gold, gray, and black (but also could be a dark navy depending on the lighting). It added a hit of elegance to my white shelves, and the best part was that I could do this by myself in hardly any time. I just measured out my shelves, used the lines on the back to cut straight, and voila!
Also, remember how I said I am not handy? As you can see, I damaged my shelf when I put it together, but the liner covered it perfectly, and no one will ever know. #WINNING
So, when I was finished making my shelves look fabulous, I decided to use Smooth Top® EasyLiner® to laminate a few activities. I already had the activities printed on cardstock and cut out. All I needed to do was cover them for longevity. I measured out the amount I needed, cut, and sealed them. Duck Brand Clear Laminate was perfect for this project. I didn’t need to plug anything in or wait my turn for a laminator. My activities were all ready to go on my new super cute shelves for my little learner to practice his letters.
This may sound too good to be true, but I’m telling you, it’s not. Check out my video to see everything I did and how simple of a project it was. If you are not up for the colorful style, no worries. Duck brand also has solid white that will help you cover anything you need. You know that one time that sweet little friend wrote on your shelf with a permanent marker? Yeah, that doesn’t have to be noticeable anymore.
Thanks Duck Brand for the facelift. I’m feeling a little fancy, which puts a pep in my step. Also, I’m not so worried about my materials getting ruined when they are covered and laminated. These activities are in it for the long haul.
