When they rebuilt our school last year, they bought all of the Kinder teachers housekeeping centers. I was soooo excited, already making a mental shopping list. Then my principal had them all removed. Not academic! They're sitting in an empty classroom right now.

Play is very important and it is a good reminder to think about our students. They might not need a kitchen to actually have a home area.
