This set includes 7 differentiated games with 7-9 themes for each game. This set is perfect for September through November. All you need to do is print and add a few manipulatives (cubes, counters, dice, dominoes, and playing cards). No cutting required. Easy peasy!

I would print on cardstock and laminate for longevity. All games come in two formats–numbers 1-6 and numbers 7-12. Students use one die for numbers 1-6 and two dice for numbers 7-12. When using playing cards, remove the face cards (ace, queen, king, jack, and joker). If you don’t want the games to be full page, you can use your printer feature to print multiple pages to one page.

There is also a resource list for each craft with free YouTube links to videos of read alouds, songs, etc. relating to that specific topic that you can use for in class or virtual teaching. This set includes seventeen STEM activities and includes a recommended supply list. This list is recommended because you should be able to also use resources you already have in your classroom. The amazing thing about STEM is that we allow children the opportunity to choose materials, create a plan, and execute it in their vision. The teacher does not model the expectation but instead gives the student freedom to problem solve.

I have included color and black and white characters for some of the challenges. I would print them on white cardstock, if you have it available. If not, regular paper will work. You can use them in your STEM tub or not. It is up to you.

Activities include: Building a windmill, corn, table, hideout for a turkey, turkey trap, ship that floats, fence, barn, cornucopia, etc. There are a few Thanksgiving activities that are very generic and can be used during any month, but if you teach that, you have a few options. There are a few turkey activities, too. This unit also covers farm activities to give you more options if you don’t want Thanksgiving activities. I tried to be very mindful of what is appropriate for young learners.

This literacy game set is perfect for September through November with many options.

Games Include

• Roll and Cover (8 different themes):
  In this editable game, you can type in letters or sight words for students to work on. They roll the die and cover the correct letter or word. You do not need any special software to edit these games.
• What does it rhyme with? (6 different themes):
  In this game, students will find the correct pictures to lay on top of the pictures on the game board. For example, if the gameboard has a picture of a cat, students can find the picture of a rat and lay it on top of the cat.
• That’s a match! (6 different themes):
  In this game, students will find the matching lowercase or capital letter to put on the game board pictures.
• Beginning Sounds Sort (8 different themes):
  In this game, students will find the correct picture to place on top of the letters on the game board for the correct beginning sound.
• Is It A Letter Or A Word? (8 different themes):
  In this game, students will sort the letters and words on the correct square.
• Sight Word Puzzles:
  Cut out these 8 different sight word puzzles and have students build the words. They can practice writing them after they build the puzzles for extra practice.
• What Comes Next?
  This sequencing game provides ten different sequencing scenarios. Students will put the correct picture that completes the sequence.
• Build a Letter:
  In this activity, students will use pom poms to build the letter. This is a great fine motor activity.
