Let the countdown begin. T minus four and a half days until Christmas Break. I We can do this! I am going on a field trip tomorrow. You can be jealous. A 45 minute bus ride each way. Singing Christmas carols the whole way there and everyone passed out the whole way home. Good times! Plans for the rest of the week? You guessed it!
We had a great week of RACKING (Random Acts of Christmas Kindness). Our Elf (Snowflake) came on Monday.
We went to a nursing home on Wednesday, caroling and deliver cards we made. It was wonderful. I wore my new elf shirt from my store. I got my teammates elf shirts too because matching shirts makes me happy.
Snowflake also brought us supplies to make ornaments for our parents for Christmas. I used the left over fabric paint from our shirts to make the thumb print. I used a sharpie for their names and antlers and red puff paint for the nose. It cost me about $15 (including the recycled paint for last weeks project) and about ten minutes with the kids. Seriously easy peasy and so cute!
Hang in there friends. The kids are off their rockers. I know. It's a full moon out too. Eek! Drink lots of hot chocolate or just eat chocolate. My principal had a chocolate fountain for us on Wednesday. I thought about just throwing my head in it but I am sure that would have been wildly inappropriate. Ugh. So many rules.
Well, that's all I got. I am going to get back to reading The Mocking Jay. The kids and I are reading it together because they don't have their A.R. points so we decided to read a book together. We have nine more chapters to go. It's really good!
Have a great week! Love and virtual hugs!
